from 5763 reviewsAtlas is synonymous with Quality! I have a mid-50s Atlas large studio boom stand on casters from my father's radio station. The studio that I presently work for recently acquired a new version of the same model from Atlas. They're identical!
Good design is timeless.
When I custom ordered an 18" Classic kick from DCP a couple of years ago, I chose Ludwig's Atlas Anchor Spurs (pictured Maple). When I ordered my Revette set earlier this year, I chose the Ludwig/Atlas spurs from DCP as replacements, as I didn't care for the ones that came with the set.
They're rugged and smooth in adjustability. Plus they look cool!
Let me start by saying that this cymbal both sounds and looks amazing. It is a warm, dark, lush sounding cymbal with a lot of character. The one I got weighs 1924 grams, so weight wise it is very similar to a Zildjian K Dark Thin crash. I would probably characterize it more toward a medium thin weight cymbal, however it sounds and plays more like a thin cymbal. I bought this and a 20” Spectrum Crash at the same time. Both are great sounding cymbals, share similar characteristics and compliment each other well. I would say that the Expressions is a little darker sounding, and has a slightly trashier character. I think anyone wanting a great sounding cymbal that would fit almost any situation will be extremely pleased with this cymbal. I played and toured professionally for 10 years and have played nothing but high end cymbals from Zildjian, Istanbul, Paiste and Sabian and these are every bit as good as any of those. If I was to compare this cymbal to what I’ve played, I would say it is a cross between a Zildjian K Dark Crash and an Istanbul Tradtional Crash. I can’t recommend these cymbals enough. The 2 year warranty also gives peace of mind.

Sticks and bag (and gels) work great and arrived safely. Thanks!
SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Worked great .
awesome kit, great sound and quality
I basically got it for the lock. It was for a single chain so I couldn’t use the whole part. Excellent fit as far as the lock goes.
Beautiful stand and works great! The best one I own now!
very nice
Love this cymbal! Max's customer service was top notch. He easily deciphered the sound I was hearing, and immediately honed in on this cymbal. Can't wait to visit again!
Quick shipping
This was the perfect stand for what I wanted. perfect height.. Works
very well. Needed at 360 swivel so I could have small increments. I love
Pearl & other options but this stand was less expensive & is very solid & has all options I needed. DCP has just about anything one could ask for. Thanks DCP
Right out of the box this beautiful snare sounded pretty amazing, and with just a touch of tuning, it sounds fantastic! Its deep, darker tone and cutting attack have made this snare a genuine favorite of mine in no time flat.
It is Awesome, it’s a nice solid piece of hardware that I don’t have to worry about!
