The matte black finish pairs with full copper-plated hardware—10 tube lugs, die-cast hoops, P88AC snare throw-off, and P35P butt plate—creating a cohesive, professional appearance while ensuring stable tuning across the playing range. Fitted with Ludwig Weather Master heads, the Hot Rod is ready to perform out of the box. This snare improves on the original Black Beauty design by replacing triple-flanged hoops and Imperial-style lugs with die-cast hoops and tube-style lugs, which provide enhanced tuning stability and durability.
