Meinl Stick & Brush SB618 Jay Postones Signature Drum Sticks

Meinl Stick & Brush SB618 Jay Postones Signature Drumsticks – Premium Hickory for Speed and Control

Co-designed by world-class drummer Jay Postones, the SB618 signature sticks deliver refined performance through carefully engineered geometry and premium materials. Every detail—from the slightly longer 16.5" reach to the short taper and round tip—has been optimized for speed, control, and powerful projection. Built from American hickory in a medium-light weight, these sticks combine responsive feel with effortless maneuverability, making them ideal for drummers who demand precision without sacrificing power. The SB618 excels across all playing surfaces, whether you're navigating fast passages or laying down controlled hits. The standard 0.565" diameter grip provides comfortable control, while the round tip generates clarity and definition on drums and cymbals alike. Weight and pitch matching ensures consistency across pairs, so every stick performs identically—critical for professional and serious amateur players.
