There are 2 options for brushes. I got tired of the ones that kept loosening so I tried this stick 10 years ago. I’m just now replacing. They do take a little time to break in but once they do, they’re great. They allow me to play both soft or loud. The only negative is that you’ll have to find a case for them to keep wires straight.
The spread of the fan is too wide. I wanted to try a non retractable option with wood but I probably wouldn’t buy again. They sound good as is but I predict they will wear more quickly because of the width. Wish I could report back in 6 months.
